Prime Staffing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Kingsport, Tennessee.

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct nursing care to adult and adolescent patients on a Med-Surg/Telemetry unit (1:7 ratio).
- Perform IV therapy, phlebotomy, central/PICC line care, and blood product administration.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to emergencies using rapid response/code teams.
- Manage respiratory support including nasal cannula, HFNC, and chest tubes (preferred).
- Deliver gastrointestinal and ostomy care, feeding tube management, and medication administration (insulin, heparin, PCA, etc.).
- Implement isolation precautions and ensure infection control compliance.
- Float to other units as required and participate in support/education of nursing students.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years MS/Tele experience (first-time travelers accepted).
- Certifications: BLS (required), ACLS & NIHSS preferred.
- Epic charting experience preferred.
- Must live 100+ miles from facility.
- Every other weekend required; no on-call.
