Data Entry Clerk Syosset, NY 11791 4+ Months Temporary Mon-Fri 8-5 Responsibilities:
- Enter new and updated information into Ryder Logistics freight management system
- Prepare source data by compiling and sorting information
- Transfer paper-based data into electronic format using Microsoft Excel
- Verify data accuracy, correct errors, and review for deficiencies or incompatibilities
- Maintain logbooks of entered and changed data
- Communicate daily with local warehouse management
- Keep information confidential
- Contribute to team efforts as needed
Requirements:
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to compile, sort, and verify data
- Comfortable working with both paper-based and electronic data
- Good communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
