Position Summary
We are currently seeking a skilled and safety-focused Excavator Operator to join our construction team in Hampton, NH. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers long-term potential for individuals who demonstrate reliability, technical expertise, and a strong work ethic.
Role Overview
The Excavator Operator will be responsible for operating heavy equipment to perform excavation tasks such as trenching, foundation digging, grading, and site preparation. This role involves close coordination with site crews to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and in alignment with project specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Operate excavators and other heavy equipment for excavation and grading
Dig trenches and foundations according to site plans and conditions
Execute site preparation and earthmoving with precision
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines and quality standards
Maintain compliance with safety protocols and ensure a clean work environment
Required Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience operating excavators (experience limited to mini excavators does not qualify)
Proficiency with various heavy equipment including dozers, backhoes, skid steers, and front-end loaders
Solid understanding of construction site operations and earthwork techniques
Strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and professional conduct

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $29.00/hr.
