Job Title: Customer Transactions Specialist

Duration: 10 Months (Possible Extension/Conversion to Full-time)

Location: Williamsville, NY 14221 (Onsite)

We are seeking a highly motivated individual with strong experience in Data Entry, Customer Service, and Microsoft Excel. Successful candidates will need to complete a 1-minute typing test and achieve a minimum score of 40 words per minute (WPM).

Overview:

The Customer Transactions Specialist plays a key role in managing unique or complex customer transactions, including updates, corrections, and requests that fall outside standard processing procedures. This position not only supports transaction processing but also drives platform adoption and enhances operational efficiency.

Under moderate supervision, the Specialist will resolve inquiries with speed and precision while ensuring compliance with service level agreements (SLAs). Core responsibilities include performing transactional functions, facilitating requests from associates, and delivering consistent, high-quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure data integrity across all transactions and systems.
  • Streamline internal business processes and workflows for maximum efficiency.
  • Identify and advocate for opportunities to enhance platform engagement.
  • Collaborate with Account Managers and Business Owners to convert opportunities into successful outcomes.
  • Create reports on data quality and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist the team with platform-related activities and support efforts.
  • Foster adoption of the Xvantage platform by troubleshooting issues and ensuring accurate order entry.

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Strong understanding of professional communication techniques and customer service best practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook and Excel.
  • Familiarity with business programs, services, and products.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data for trend identification and insights.
  • Results-focused with a capability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Team-oriented with the ability to work independently when necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Associate degree or equivalent experience with at least 3 years of relevant functional experience,
  • OR
  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5+ years of functional experience, ideally at a senior level.
  • Strong comprehension of transactional processes and their application across various tasks.
