Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced Operating Room Nurse/Technician to join our team immediately. The ideal candidate will have two years of direct intraoperative experience, with a strong background in orthopedic and general surgery. The role involves circulating and scrubbing procedures, ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety during surgery.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room and surgical instruments.
• Provide support to the surgical team during procedures.
• Maintain aseptic techniques and clinical protocols.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Document patient care activities and maintain accurate records.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of two years' experience in a direct intraoperative role.
• Experience in orthopedic surgeries, including joints, spine, and sports injuries, as well as general surgery.
• Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, and CNOR are required.
• Must have an active and valid registration with the appropriate credentialing bodies.
