A well-respected long-term care provider in the Buffalo region is seeking an experienced and dedicatedAssistant Director of Nursing (ADON)to join our leadership team. This role offers the opportunity to work closely with the Director of Nursing in guiding clinical operations and supporting high-quality resident care.
What You'll Do:
Partner with the Director of Nursing Services (DNS) to manage daily nursing operations and uphold strong care standards
Lead weekly wound/skin rounds to ensure residents receive the best care
Encourage effective communication and teamwork across all levels of nursing staff
Address and support the clinical needs of residents with professionalism and compassion
Provide 24/7 on-call leadership as needed
Assist with planning and coordination of nursing services
Maintain current knowledge of nursing theory and best practices
Ensure timely and accurate completion of medical records in line with regulations
Contribute to recruiting, hiring, and onboarding new nursing staff
Oversee staffing processes and infection control practices
Stay flexible and responsive to the dynamic needs of the facility
What We're Looking For:
Active State RN license
At least 3 years of experience in long-term care
Management experience (2+ years preferred)
Background in staff education (1+ year preferred)
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to supervise effectively and foster a positive work culture
Flexibility in hours to meet resident and facility needs
Rate:
$95,000-$115,000/year
