Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Medical Surgical Unit. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care and be involved in a variety of cases, including pneumonia, UTIs, and GI bleeds. The position requires strong clinical skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care, including administering medications and monitoring vital signs.
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Assist with activities of daily living, including toileting, feeding, and patient repositioning.
• Titrate drips as required, with specific protocols for cardiac drips.
• Maintain and monitor patient equipment to ensure optimal functioning.
• Respond to patient and family needs with empathy and professionalism.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN license and BLS certification required.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience is required; first-time travelers are welcome to apply.
• Ability to perform EKGs and monitor telemetry as needed.
