Qualifications you'll bring:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred.
- 3-7-year accounting experience
- Experience in public accounting preferred
- Healthcare experience desired
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent current technical skills (MS Office applications)
- Ability to work effectively with multiple monthly deadlines

Your key responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements, in compliance with GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
- Identify and resolve accounting issues and complexities
- Records and reconciles industry specific arrangements such as VBP (value based payment)/risk arrangement/shared savings/capitations, as required.
- Performs accounting duties including the creation and review of journal entries recorded in the ledger.
- Identifies variances and financial trends for revenue and expense line items across different lines of business.
- Mentor and train junior accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed
- Performs bank account reconciliations and other general ledger account reconciliations as assigned, identifying and resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Assists accounting management with coordination of the annual audits and Model Audit Rule testing validation.
- Conducting budgeting and financial analysis
- Ensuring compliance with GAAP and other regulations
- Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and collaboration.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to provide innovative approaches for continued improvement in process efficiency and effectiveness
