The Role
Bolt is looking for a seasoned Construction Project Manager to lead construction operations across multiple high-impact job sites. This is a field-forward role for someone who thrives on-site, communicates with clarity and confidence, and brings rigor to budgets, timelines, and execution.
You'll interface directly with clients, subcontractors, and city agencies while managing a team of supers and ensuring projects are delivered at the highest standard.
We're a design-driven, detail-obsessed team — and we're looking for someone who takes the same pride in building as we do in designing.
What You'll Do
Own and manage project budgets from preconstruction through closeout, tracking costs daily, identifying risks early, and ensuring profitability across multiple active jobsDevelop and maintain detailed construction schedules aligned with project milestones, client expectations, and resource availabilityCoordinate site activity across multiple teams, ensuring efficient sequencing and subcontractor performanceWork closely with internal Project Managers to align budget, scope, and schedule, flagging scope gaps, change orders, and cost impacts proactivelyLead subcontractor pricing, bid leveling, and contract negotiationReview architectural and technical drawings to ensure budget alignment and constructability in the fieldOversee permitting, inspections, and regulatory approvals (DOB, FDNY, LPC, etc.)Uphold Bolt's quality and safety standards across all job sitesRepresent Bolt in client and consultant meetings, providing confident, informed updates on budget status, timelines, and construction progressContribute to the development of more efficient budgeting, forecasting, and project delivery systems within the companyWhat We're Looking For
- 10+ years of construction management experience, ideally with a focus on high-end interiors, hospitality, or complex commercial projects
- Proven track record managing project budgets, schedules, and subcontractors across multiple simultaneous job sites
- Deep knowledge of building systems, detailing, sequencing, and trade coordination
- Strong familiarity with NYC codes, approvals, and permitting processes (DOB, FDNY, LPC, etc.)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam and construction management platforms
- Highly organized and methodical — able to maintain control over timelines, costs, and teams under pressure
- Clear, confident communicator with polished client-facing and leadership skills
- Ability to lead field teams with authority and empathy, while maintaining accountability

This is a full-time, in-person role based in our Greenpoint, Brooklyn studio.
The base salary range for this position is $90,000–$105,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Bolt also offers performance-based bonus opportunities and clear pathways for professional growth.
