Job Description & RequirementsWe are seeking experienced Registered Nurses with a background in inpatient psychiatric care for 26-week contracts. Openings are available on both Day (6:45am–3:15pm) and Evening (2:45pm–11:15pm) shifts. Candidates must bring at least 2 years of recent inpatient psych experience. Nurses will be part of a collaborative team supporting patient stabilization and recovery.
Assignment Length: 26 weeks, with extension reviewed 6 weeks prior to end dateShifts Available: Day (6:45am–3:15pm) and Evening (2:45pm–11:15pm)Nurse-to-Patient Ratio: 3:24 during daytime; 1:24 at night with nursing supervisor onsiteSchedule: Holidays and every other weekend requiredRequirements:• Minimum 2 years of inpatient psychiatric RN experience• Fit testing required; staff must comply with CDC facial hair guidelines for N95 use• CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required – online module plus in-person training prior to startOrientation:• 1-week classroom program (Mon–Fri, 7:45am–4:15pm) covering policies, standards, and CPI training• 3–5 days of on-unit orientation with partner RN/MHW• 4-week blended program with classroom and unit-based training, competency validation, and MHWP exam (80%+ required)These positions offer the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in an acute psychiatric setting while working alongside a supportive interdisciplinary team.
