Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with ARRT or NMTCB certification and Epic experience for a daytime contract assignment.
Responsibilities
- Work in a hospital-based nuclear medicine department
- Monday through Friday day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
- 13-week contract assignment
- May perform procedures in other imaging modalities as needed
- On-call responsibilities may be required
- EPIC EMR experience is required
- Independently perform nuclear medicine procedures, including the administration of radiopharmaceuticals and operation of equipment
- Coordinate patient flow and uphold radiation protection standards within the department
- Maintain equipment and exercise professional judgment in executing daily duties
- May provide coverage for other imaging modalities per departmental needs
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rate within a 30-mile radius
- A maximum of 14 days of requested time off (RTO) is permitted with submission
- Modules up to 24 hours may be required during orientation and annually
- No consideration for candidates with a history of license action
Requirements
- Associate degree in Allied Health with a major in Nuclear Medicine Technology
- Current CPR certification required
- Nuclear Medicine registry required
- ODH licensure required—pending licensure is acceptable
- ARRT RT (R) and/or NMTCB certification required
- Experience using Epic is required
- Preferred: One year of experience in Nuclear Medicine
- License required if applicable
