Job Type: Full-Time, Part-Time

Pay: Weekly, Direct Deposit, 60-day review for increase, incentives throughout the month.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Aging Kingdom caregivers provide service to individuals in their own homes and communities who need assistance caring for themselves as a result of old age, sickness, disability, and/or other inflictions. Personal Care may include assistance with the activities of daily living, housecleaning, laundry, meal preparation, transportation, companionship, and respite,

Responsible for ensuring service is delivered in a caring and respectful manner, in accordance with relevant Agency policies and industry standards.

Qualifications & Education:

High School Diploma or GED required

One one-year full-time experience in personal care or an institutional setting, such as a hospital or nursing home, or one-year full-time experience within the last five years in direct client care in a home care agency setting; or

Responsibilities:

Provide personal hygiene assistance

Help clients take prescribed medication

Assist clients with ambulation

Assist with personal care and hygiene, plan and prepare meals

Complete client's shopping or accompany them to successfully do so

Perform housekeeping duties and report any unusual incidents

Act quickly and responsibly in cases of emergency

Other duties as assigned

Ability to:

Perform tasks involving activity, which may include heavy lifting and extensive bending and standing.

Deal effectively with stress.

Work assigned hours per week.

Bend and stand an average of six (6) hours per day.

Lift up to 50+ pounds.

Work in a stressful environment.

Drive up to 50+ miles per day.
