Café Attendant

We're not just a growing health and fitness club, but a growing café. While we know exercise is important, the food we eat is just as equally vital. The Fuel Café at All Sport Health and Fitness is looking for a high-energy, health food loving individual for a part-time position as a Café Attendant. This position is perfect for someone who can whip up a mean protein shake – don't worry, we'll show you how – and who has an outgoing personality.
THE BASICS:
Each day at the café may be different, for not everyone orders the same thing twice, but each day you will be given the opportunity to:
Greet our members
Follow proper procedures for food safety
Educate members, staff, and non-members on our food and drink selection
Product recommendation – if you have a favorite shake or lunch item, share it!
Maximize sales by practicing up-selling and ad-on sales
Restock and merchandise as directed by management
Participate in routine cleaning, maintenance, and operation
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
1-year experience in high-volume retail or food prep setting
Basic computer skills to operate our retail Point of Sale (POS) system
Experience maintaining and balancing a till
Extraordinary communication and multitasking skills
High attention to detail
Must be 18 years or older
Must be able to stand for 4 hours at a stretch
