About the Team The Mizuho U.S. Operations ( MUSO ) Regulatory Affairs Group is responsible for managing the Bank's regulatory relationships and supervisory engagement across MUSO, ensuring that the company remains compliant with all relevant regulations and maintains strong relationships with regulators. The group is responsible for managing regulatory examinations, reviews, continuous monitoring, inquiries, firmwide regulatory projects and other regulatory-related matters. Additionally, the department oversees regulatory change management, which involves monitoring and analyzing new and emerging regulations, assessing their impact on the organization, and implementing necessary changes to ensure ongoing compliance. The Executive Assistant will support the Head of Regulatory Affairs Principal Duties and Responsibilities Function as gatekeeper to Head of department Multitask in a high paced environment Strategically prepares Department Head for meetings and events in advance Manage complex, high meeting volume calendars and strategic scheduling Pro-active in managing schedule on a forward outward approach Assist in other administrative support tasks as assigned by Department Head and direct reports Manage travel & entertainment arrangement domestically and internationally Revise, print and bind PowerPoint presentations Coordinate communications among management and other Division Manage general office needs such as ordering supplies and mail distribution Manage conference room reservations, dial in number reservations Assist with client meetings (order food and greet clients) Qualifications At least 5-7 years of Administrative Assistant experience within Financial Services Prior experience supporting a C-Suite team Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint proficiency required Exhibits a strong work ethic, professionalism, confidentiality and good judgment Well-developed interpersonal skills; enthusiastic, self-motivated, team oriented, works well under pressure Incredibly organized and resourceful while having the ability to multi-task with great attention to detail and follow through Personable with a can-do attitude that sees no task or project as too big or too small Time management and multitasking skills required Excellent verbal and written communication skills Willingness to assist in duties called upon at last minute notice Willingness to undertake new tasks The expected base salary range is $105,000.00. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered.
