Job Details:We are seeking an experienced and innovative Permanent Controls Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is critical to the success of our company, as you will be responsible for designing, developing, and supervising all aspects of electrical control systems, machinery, and equipment. You will be involved in detailed automation design and upgrades, process improvements, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate must be proficient with Siemens, ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, Cognex, Labview.Responsibilities:1. Design, program, simulate, and test automated machinery and processes to complete precise tasks.2. Identify, select, and integrate hardware and software components to ensure that automated systems meet or exceed project objectives.3. Develop and execute project plans including cost estimates, scheduling, and system integration for each project.4. Troubleshoot equipment to resolve automation and machinery related issues.5. Maintain technical knowledge and expertise in the area of controls engineering to support the various technologies used in our production systems.6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation and functionality of automation systems.7. Prepare and study technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements.8. Analyze and interpret data to improve existing systems and processes.9. Provide training and support to the maintenance department to ensure successful operation of systems.Qualifications:1. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a controls engineering role.3. Proficient with Siemens, ABB, Kuka, Fanuc, Labview, Cognex.4. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, automation, and process control systems.5. Strong understanding of safety systems and regulations.6. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.8. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.9. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.10.
