This position will require 3-5 years of prior dental front office experience. Must be well versed in PPO insurances and presenting financial treatment plans.

Hiring Schedule:

• Sunday: OFF
• Monday: 10:00am-6:00pm (Wading River)
• x2 per month, Tuesday: 9:00am-5:00pm (Middle Island) - off when working Saturday
• Wednesday: 9:00am-5:00pm (Middle Island)
• Thursday: 10:00am-7:00pm (Middle Island)
• Friday: 9:00am-3:00pm (Middle Island)
• x2 per month, Saturday: 8:00am-2:00pm (Middle Island) - off when working Tuesday

Responsibilities:

• Warmly greet and welcome patients with a high level of concierge care.
• Answering phones promptly and responding to messages.
• Managing schedules - input and confirm patient appointments.
• Entering in new patient records and updating ledgers with precision (Denticon).
• Collect co-payments, verify insurance eligibility, and presenting treatment plans (PPO/FFS).
• Respond to patient billing or financial inquiries, directing them to the appropriate departments as needed.
• Assist with various office duties as directed by the Practice Manager.

Qualifications:

• Prior dental experience is required.
• A resume showcasing a consistent and stable employment history.
• Exceptional organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Flexibility to adapt to varying schedules as required.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills.

New York Salary Range: $22/HR - $27/HR
