Position Details:

Contract Length: 13 wks

Number of Openings: 4

Start Date: 10/13

Hours/Shifts/Schedules: Nights 36 hrs/wk(3x12s) available*Every other weekend, every other holiday

7PM-7:30AM

Setting/Day to day

• Hospital
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• 2+ years of ER/ED experience
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, TNCC
• Must have Majority of Experience in PEDS ED
• Level 1 or Level 2 Trauma
• EPIC
• Strong Triage Skills

The Pediatric Registered Nurse must be kind, compassionate,and caring towards children. ThePediatric Registered Nurse must have a broad knowledge of emergency pediatricnursing care and excellent communication and interpersonal skills. The Pediatric RN assumes responsibility andaccountability for the application of nursing processes and the delivery ofpatient care in the emergency setting as well as effectively communicates withthe patient's family and multidisciplinary team.

Minimum Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse License with in the state ofpractice
• Minimum of one year pediatric emergency room experiencepreferred
• Pediatric experience required
• Complies with all relevant professional standards ofpractice
• Current CPR if applicable
• TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable
• Current Health certificate (per contract or stateregulation)
• Must meet all federal, state and local requirements
• Must be at least 18 years of age
