Patient Access Specialist Opportunity

Do you like helping people? Coulee Medical Center's Patient Access department has an opportunity for a motivated individual to take their customer service skills to the next level! Our Registration Specialists are the face of CMC, often being the first and last points of contact during our patients visits. Patient care starts at registration and we need patient focused and customer service-oriented people on our team. This position's main responsibilities include identifying patient needs, verifying demographic and insurance information for accuracy, and registering patients for scheduled visits, as well as walk-in and/or emergent care. The ability to critically think through problems and act swiftly on any arising emergencies is very important in this role. Additionally, a heightened sense of awareness, attention to detail, and the capability to learn and adapt quickly in an ever-changing healthcare environment is also preferred. Bonus Details:

• $500 paid upon hire
• $500 1-year Retention Bonus
• $500 2-year Retention Bonus

Any person who has been employed with Coulee Medical Center in the last 24 months is not eligible to receive recruitment related sign-on and/or retention bonuses

Salary Range:

The wage scale for this position has been finalized for the facility including 26 steps and the selected candidate will be placed on the wage scale depending on years of experience.
