Overview

Head of Industry - Beauty, Fashion, Retail at Vox Media. The Head of Industry is responsible for designing, managing and executing the Style vertical sales strategy for Vox Media, inclusive of American Fashion, Beauty, and Retail. Lead a team of sales professionals to help advertising partners unlock the full potential of their brands through premier content offerings, high-value audiences, and cutting-edge technology. Primary responsibility is to drive and grow revenue nationally in the Style vertical and sub-categories by developing a strategy aligned with broader company goals.

What You'll Do

• Lead a team of digital media client partners to drive campaign performance and act as primary liaison to senior leadership.
• Formulate and execute an advertising strategy that aligns with the company's business objectives.
• Manage senior-level relationships with advertising partners and develop a thorough understanding of their business challenges, needs and expectations.
• Attract and train new talent to drive revenue growth.
• Build and maintain a strong knowledge of Vox Media's advertising products and solutions (media and content).
• Ensure achievement of goals related to successful campaign completion, product quality, on-time delivery, and client satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities for optimization and/or growth of existing accounts to facilitate stronger relationships and increase revenue.
• Collaborate with senior management to manage internal revenue expectations and forecasting.

Who You Are

• 10+ years of experience in advertising sales and management, focusing on Retail including American Fashion, Beauty, Retail, Luxury.
• Deep knowledge of digital media, brand-first selling, enterprise strategic sales tactics, online marketing technology and its competitive landscape.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• A strong track record of accurate forecasting and revenue growth.
• Well-established senior relationships within the Style vertical, at the agency and client levels.
• Understanding of the industry's key opportunities and challenges.
• Willingness to travel.

Pay Transparency

The salary range listed below represents the minimum and maximum base pay for this position at the time of posting. Final salary offered will depend on skills and experience. In addition to base pay, a discretionary bonus may be included.

Pay Range: $220,000—$250,000 USD
