We seek a Social Media Associate Director with experience in campaign management who is a vocal and engaged leader on client and functional teams and can carry out strategy through structuring and planning. Associate Directors are direct managers of the Social Managers and oversee the holistic team members on their account, taking responsibility along with the account Managers for guiding their growth. This role owns the social function on their book of clients and assists in leading the function for their region, developing overall paid media strategy, helping to grow the client's business through additional social/search channels, and ensuring team execution meets and exceeds client expectations.

Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: determine how to use social/search resources efficiently; manage and lead all social team members on client teams; identify training and development needs; build training materials; develop processes, methodologies, and frameworks; consult with client teams to ensure best practices; lead hiring for social team members; oversee onboarding of new clients; ensure integration with other functional teams.
  • Grow Business: identify how to increase and expand paid media services; test new channels and products; align social strategy with the client's overall business goals; support business development with pitches and guidance to junior team members.
  • Broader Agency Responsibilities: Practice Development; Product & Service Development; Partner Relations including technology and social networks management.
What You'll Need To Succeed
  • Bachelor's degree or relevant education; 5+ years in paid social marketing and/or interactive advertising; hands-on experience building or managing accounts.
  • Proactive, self-starter with strong presentation, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Strong organizational ability to manage multiple projects; experience with online media sales and/or interactive ad agencies; ability to articulate features and benefits and deliver client value.
Compensation and Benefits

This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and location. Benefits include health, vision, dental insurance; 401(k); flexible spending accounts; vacation, sick, personal days; paid parental leave; paid medical leave; and STD/LTD coverage. Compensation Range: $110,000—$120,000 USD.

Note: This role is hybrid, requiring three (3) days per week in the office, with two (2) days remote. In-office days may be adjusted over time based on business needs.
