ICU Day/Night Rotation - Part Time Registered NursePosition Overview
- ICU Day/Night Rotation
- Schedule: 7a - 7p / 7p - 7a
- Part Time: 24 hours per week
- 2-12 hour shifts
- Day/Night/Weekend Holiday rotation
Required Certifications
- ACLS, BLS, PALS (AHA/RQI certifications)
- Stroke Certification
- Basic Coronary Care within 6 months of hire
- CPI certification within 90 days of hire
- BLS, ACLS, PALS required through the RQI system during clinical orientation
License Requirements
- Currently licensed by NYS as a registered professional nurse
Preferred Certifications
- Certification by the Emergency Nurses Association is recommended within 2 years of hire
- TNCC recommended within 2 years of hire
Minimum Qualifications
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Ability to deal with people in a professional and courteous manner
- Ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple priorities
- Ability to enhance the spirit of teamwork through effective role modeling
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and organization skills
- Computer literacy
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Office products
- Experience with electronic medical record

Clinical Requirements
- Must demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served on assigned unit
- Must demonstrate knowledge of the principles of growth and development of the life span
- Possess the ability to assess data reflective of the patient's status and interpret the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to age-specific needs
- Provide the care needed by pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient groups
Required Skills
- BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, NYS RN Licensure
