Schedule: Part-time nights, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM or (12-hr shifts)

About the role

Join our Medical Services team supporting a county corrections environment. Corrections nurses provide comprehensive care to adult inmate patients, using strong triage skills and independent judgment. You will encounter a wide range of conditions, from routine to complex, and have a meaningful impact on an underserved population.

Requirements

• Active New York RN license
• Current BLS
• Ability to work independently in a secure facility
• Corrections experience preferred. Strong acute care or ED/tele/med-surg background also considered.

What you'll do

• Triage and assess inmate patients, administer meds, and perform treatments
• Collaborate with custody and healthcare teams to ensure safe, appropriate care
• Document thoroughly in accordance with policy and regulatory standards
