Security Officer - Cleared
Allied Universal is now hiring for part-time Department of Defense Security Officer for the Cherry Hill, NJ area. Applicant must be able to walk for long distances. Must be proficient with computers. Must have a professional demeanor. Must be able to work: Schedules will be announced during the interview process. Pay rate: $19.48/hour. We offer attractive pay options! Weekly pay. Responsibilities:
- Provide high quality security services, safeguarding personnel, property, and information with professionalism
- Conduct patrols within and around the facility on foot, bicycle, or vehicle to ensure the protection of people, assets, and sensitive or classified information
- Greet guests and employees and escorts visitors and contractors to secure entry and exit points
- Follow site-specific performance manuals and post orders; reporting safety concerns, security breaches, and unusual circumstances via written and oral communication to client and/or other security personnel
- Respond to and assesses security alarms or emergency alarms
- Act as a first responder in emergency situations
Qualifications (Must Have):
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience
- Must possess a Department of Defense (DoD) position appropriate level security clearance
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Must possess one or more of the following:
- Minimum of three (3) years of security experience on a Department of Defense-cleared site
- Prior military experience
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Prior law enforcement or armed security experience
- Associate's degree or higher in Criminal Justice, Business, or a related field
