As the Associate Director of Marketing Operations Third-Party Clearinghouse, you will lead the strategic oversight and operational execution of third-party supplier relationships across Marketing Agency, Print, and Business Process Optimization (BPO) categories. This role is pivotal in ensuring compliant, efficient, and value-driven supplier engagement that supports Humanas marketing initiatives. You will serve as a key liaison between Marketing and Procurement, ensuring seamless communication, contract execution, and supplier performance management. This role is ideal for a process-oriented leader who thrives in complex ecosystems, excels in stakeholder engagement, and is passionate about operational excellence.

Strategic Leadership & Governance

  • Lead the Third-Party Clearinghouse function for Marketing, ensuring alignment with enterprise supplier policies and compliance standards

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Marketing suppliers and their capabilities to guide optimal vendor selection

  • Partner with Procurement to facilitate contract execution and supplier onboarding

Supplier Relationship Management

  • Oversee supplier performance, including SLA adherence, issue resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with Marketing Agency, Print, and BPO suppliers to ensure strategic alignment and service excellence

  • Evaluate new supplier capabilities and industry trends to ensure Humana maintains a best-in-class supplier portfolio

Operational Excellence

  • Manage a team of two associates, including oversight of financial spend tracking and data throughput

  • Develop and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to monitor vendor throughput, error rates, and delivery metrics

  • Lead process optimization initiatives to increase awareness and utilization of approved enterprise suppliers across the Marketing organization

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with IT, Compliance, Legal, and Marketing teams to ensure supplier processes align with enterprise goals and regulatory requirements

  • Promote awareness of approved enterprise suppliers and their capabilities among internal stakeholders

  • Triage and evaluate supplier requests from business partners and external vendors

Risk & Compliance

  • Ensure compliance with healthcare communication standards, including CMS and Medicaid requirements

  • Support audit preparation and risk mitigation efforts related to third-party engagements

  • Maintain documentation and controls to support regulatory and internal audit requirements

Use your skills to make an impact

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Operations, Marketing, Information Systems, or a related field or equivalent work experience

  • 7+ years of experience in vendor management, clearinghouse operations, or marketing operations

  • Proven success in managing third-party relationships and operational workflows

  • Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and communication compliance standards

  • Experience with EDI systems, secure file transfer protocols, and communication platforms

  • Familiarity with CMS and Medicaid communication requirements

  • Background in audit preparation, risk management, or performance analytics

  • Experience in process automation or system integration initiatives

Travel: While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

Pay Range

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc. $126,300 - $173,700 per year This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
