If so, the City of Carlsbad Library & Cultural Arts Department invites you to apply for the position of Library Page (Part-Time). The scheduled work hours for Library Pages will vary and may be distributed over all hours that the Carlsbad Libraries are open, including evenings and weekends. In addition, Pages may be scheduled work up to two hours before the library opens.
The Library & Cultural Arts Department of the City of Carlsbad provides educational, informational, and cultural services for the community, and contributes to a high quality of life by supporting lifelong learning, the pursuit of knowledge, and an environment conducive to community gathering. The Library & Cultural Arts Department operates three public facilities: the Carlsbad City Library on Dove Lane, the Georgina Cole Library, and the Library Learning Center. The department also includes the Cultural Arts division which presents public art throughout the community. The Carlsbad City Library is also home to the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium, George and Patricia Gowland Meeting Room and the Cannon Art Gallery which support a variety of visual and performing arts programs, arts education and cultural arts services.
Currently, the only open Page positions are at the Carlsbad City Library on Dove Lane.
