Client is seeking a detail-oriented individual to work in a high-volume mail center environment. This role involves handling incoming medical record mail, sorting, scanning, and distribution. The setting is quiet, focused, and task-driven. Candidates should be reliable, organized, and able to maintain a neat appearance.
Responsibilities:
Open, sort, and distribute incoming/outgoing mail and faxes
Operate high-volume copiers; perform binding, finishing, and basic troubleshooting
Maintain copier areas and ensure machines are stocked and functional
Scan and image documents
Perform inventory tracking and maintain logs and records
Distribute office supplies and completed jobs
Answer status questions regarding job requests
Occasionally perform reception, shipping/receiving, light maintenance, or room setups
May travel between customer buildings (if applicable)
Ensure proper handling and packaging of materials
May use office and bindery equipment (e.g., shrink-wrap, cutters, joggers)
Perform filing, purging, and archiving duties
Capture and input data for service logs and reports
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
1 2 years of related work experience preferred
Strong attention to detail
Ability to stay focused in a quiet, cubicle-based environment
Ability to lift up to 40 lbs (flexible for strong candidates)
Basic computer skills; familiarity with MS Office
Preferred: experience with copiers, shipping/receiving, and basic electronics
Strong verbal communication and customer service skills
Neat and professional appearance
Business casual dress code (no t-shirts; khakis/dark pants, polo or button-up)
COVID/Flu vaccine may be required
Valid driver s license may be required depending on assignment
