Chipton-Ross is seeking multiple Solder Assemblers for a contract opportunity in Oldsmar, FL.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE):5+ years of soldering and rework experience with surface mount componentsSkilled in IPC-A-610 and IPC J-STD-001 standardsProficient with soldering equipment and inspection tools including AOI and AXI systemsAble to read and interpret complex assembly drawingsComfortable working under a microscope for extended periodsStrong attention to detail and excellent manual dexterityMust be able to read and write EnglishMust pass a medical exam per supplier guidelinesPOSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:Perform advanced rework on circuit card assemblies, including BGA, QFN, high-density connectors, and complex SMT componentsSolder through-hole and surface mount technology (SMT) components, including fine pitch and high-density partsConduct inspections and troubleshoot assemblies under a microscopeExecute mechanical assembly tasks such as installing stand-offs and using adhesivesDevelop rework procedures and collaborate with engineering teamsMaintain clean, organized, and safety-compliant workstationsDESIRED EXPERIENCE:IPC certifications (IPC-A-610, IPC-7711/7721)Experience developing rework processesFamiliarity with automated inspection tools and soldering technologiesREQUIRED EDUCATION:Accredited BS with 4-8 years or MS with 2-6 years of experienceWORK HOURS:4/10 schedule2nd shift (Mon-Thurs, 3:30 PM-2:00 AM EST)
