Planner / Scheduler Location: Richmond, KY Contract Rate: $75-$90 per hour (based on experience) About the Role We're seeking an experienced Planner / Scheduler to support a high-profile project at the Blue Grass Army Depot in Richmond, Kentucky. This role will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and analyzing construction schedules while ensuring critical deadlines are met. The position requires strong collaboration skills, advanced scheduling expertise, and the ability to thrive in a complex project environment. Key Responsibilities Develop, maintain, and monitor construction schedules using Primavera P6. Collect and integrate schedule data from all project disciplines. Identify schedule risks, restraints, and critical path activities. Track schedule performance, conduct analysis, and recommend improvements. Support development and review of schedule recovery plans, including resource and cost impacts. Collaborate across departments to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables. Provide detailed reports and updates to project leadership. Qualifications Required: Bachelor's degree in a related field with 10-13 years of experience, OR high school diploma/equivalent with 14-17 years of professional experience. U.S. Citizenship (required for facility-specific clearance). Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening. Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6. Strong background in schedule planning, critical path analysis, and performance measurement. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. Preferred: Experience on large-scale Engineering, Procurement, and Construction (EPC) projects. Previous Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience. Construction background with complex project execution. Flexibility to adapt to urgent project requests and shifting priorities. Additional Requirements Must be able to obtain and maintain access to the Blue Grass Army Depot. This role is subject to Army Regulations (AR50-6 Chemical Surety) requirements, which may include additional screenings such as security investigations, medical exams, and reliability checks. Candidates must meet and maintain personnel suitability standards for unescorted access.
