Food Preparation Professional

As a Culinary Specialist, you'll prepare and serve meals comparable to any major restaurant. You'll work alongside chefs, responsible for preparing and servicing meals in the field and at home stations. You'll order, inspect food supplies, and maintain kitchen safety and sanitation standards.

You'll learn skills that align with Preparation & Cooking, Stocking & Storage, Hospitality . In addition, you could earn 19 nationally recognized certifications. The Army offers a range of benefits, including paid training and credentialing, monthly salary, housing allowance, and more.

Job Duties:

• Plan and prepare menus
• Ensure compliance with sanitation and safety standards

Requirements:

• 10 weeks of Basic Training
• 9 weeks of Advanced Individual Training
• U.S. Citizen
• 17 to 34 Years Old
• High School Diploma or GED
• Meet Tattoo Guidelines
• No Major Law Violations
• No Medical Concerns
