Akkodis is seeking a Senior Associate Reliability Engineer Akkodis is seeking a Durham NC 27703 (Onsite). Ideally, We are looking for someone having some experience in an electro-mechanical device development.

Pay Range: $30.00 hr. to $32.000 hr. The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Contract; 12 months

Onsite: Durham, NC

The Senior Associate Reliability Engineer is a key position in the reliability and advancement of devices for the animal health industry.

This position will work as an independent contributor in development of test standard, respective hardware, creation of new test methodologies, and support of existing test designs.

The role is part of a Reliability Team engineering group working toward NPI product qualification

Required: MS (preferred: Electrical, Mechanical, or Biomechanical) with 1+ years of test/reliability engineering experience in an electro-mechanical device development environment.

Must have background in reliability

Required:

· Experience in performing environmental tests in accordance with IEC, ISO, MIL standards for product development life cycle

· Familiarity with tools such as: root cause (5 why, Ishikawa diagrams), Weibull analysis, Accelerated Life Testing (ALT), Highly Accelerated Life Test (HALT)

Preferred:

· Experience with ALT, HALT, HASS or environmental testing

· Experience using reliability data analysis packages such as Weibull++. JMP, Minitab, Python

· Project management through JIRA or other equivalent workflow tools

· Experience supporting review/development of statements of work, schematics, and CAD for test hardware

· Education in statistics-based data analysis – reliability focus

Has worked with as many as possible following standards IEC60068-2-14, IEC 60068-2-30, IEC60255-127,IEC 61000-4-2, IEC61000-4-11, IEC 60068-2-74, IEC 60068-2-64, IEC 60068-2-27, ISO60529, MIL-STD-810H
