- Designing and implementing network infrastructure to support the needs of the organization, including data center networking, virtualization, and cloud computing.
- Configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
- Implementing network security measures to protect the organization's data and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Troubleshooting network issues and performing regular maintenance and upgrades to the network infrastructure.
- Collaborating with other IT teams to ensure seamless integration of network infrastructure with other systems and applications.
- Staying up to date with the latest trends and technologies in network engineering and implementing new tools and techniques as necessary.
- Participating in the design and implementation of disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Documenting network infrastructure and configurations for reference and troubleshooting purposes.
- Developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and partners to ensure the smooth operation of the network infrastructure.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge in MPLS, OSPF, BGP
- Good experience on Leaf/Spine, Cisco ACI
- Extensive knowledge of entire Cisco router/switching product line
- 5-10+ years of network engineering experience within large organizations
- Experience in the securities or financial services industry is required
