Job Location : Deerfield Beach,FL, USA
Job responsibilities include filling order quantities, ensuring accurate labeling of product, performing quality inspections of finished product, stacking product on pallets, documenting label verification and product changeovers, accurately completing all paperwork required by the position, maintaining clean equipment and work area in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and other duties as assigned.
Required qualifications include being at least 18 years old, demonstrating excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), demonstrating safe working habits, being able to lift in excess of 25 lbs. repetitively, 50 lbs. occasionally, being able to push and pull full tubs of product (500 lbs.), being able to learn and perform all positions, being able to work in a fast-paced environment, having good human relations skills, being able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hours, having excellent attendance and punctuality, being willing to assist other team members in other areas, being able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of time, possessing general knowledge of machine operation with the ability to recognize problems when they occur, being able to work efficiently with little or no supervision, understanding Lockout/Tagout compliance requirements, being dependable and possessing good follow up skills, having good verbal and written communication skills, being able to follow detailed written and verbal instructions, possessing basic math skills, being able to communicate effectively, showing enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in work, and having a commitment to Publix and our mission.
