Rotating shift schedule with day, evening, and night shifts; every other weekend, holidays, and on-call/callback as needed.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Hematology Oncology/ Bone Marrow Unit Registered Nurse to join our highly functioning team of health care professionals. This position involves delivering care in a fast-paced, high acuity environment to adult patients within the hematology-oncology population.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the hematology-oncology unit.
• Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Valid RN License in New York
• Two years of nursing experience, with a preference for acute care in medicine and oncology
• Experience with Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and telemetry is required
• Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Current ACLS certification
• Chemotherapy certification is required
