Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) in Bolivar, MO is hiring a Scheduler to join our staff in the Surgical Services department! CMH is made up of 34 primary and specialty clinics, 6 Long-Term Care facilities and 1 residential care facility. About the Department: CMH Surgical Services Clinic, meet all the general surgery needs of our patients. From diagnostic evaluation to minimally invasive surgery, including robotic surgery, our physicians and staff will provide compassionate care in order to meet the patients' needs. A typical day includes: Answering calls from physician offices and patients; scheduling surgeries, procedures and pre-operative teaching.

• Creating patient medical records, entering demographic data provided.
• Providing efficient follow-up for physician orders, alerting office and/or physicians of missing information and providing support on the phone and through facsimile communication.
• Schedules accurately and completely ensure that all equipment and supplies needed are available at the time selected.

Job Requirements:

• Education: HS diploma
• Experience: 1 year of customer service or scheduling of surgical procedures
• Skills: organization, able to work in fast-paced environment, multitasking
• Licensure/Certification: N/A
• Physical: ability to work at a computer 90% of the day and stand for the remaining 10%
