Job Summary
As we expand our product footprint, we're hiring a Director of Product Analytics to be our first analytics leader within the product team. This is a high-impact, individual contributor role for someone who thrives in both strategic thinking and hands-on execution. In this role, you'll serve as a trusted thought partner to Product and Engineering leads. You'll also design the core frameworks for how we track, measure, and understand product performance, and own everything from data strategy and KPI design to advanced analysis and experimentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the strategic analytics partner to senior leadership, helping shape product roadmap priorities using a data-driven approach.
- Conduct advanced, hands-on analyses of user behavior, funnels, feature adoption, and engagement trends
- Support A/B experimentation and establish best practices for test-and-learn culture.
- Partner with the data engineering team to build, deliver, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to enable self-service and executive visibility.
- Audit and improve event tracking, data quality, and product instrumentation in collaboration with engineering.
- Establish and document the foundational analytics framework that future analysts will build on.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in analytics, with at least 4+ years focused on product analytics in high-growth environments.
- Experience working in Fintech or with highly-regulated consumer facing products.
- Deep proficiency in SQL and experience with tools like Looker, Amplitude, Mixpanel, Mode, or similar.
- Strong data storytelling and stakeholder management skills—you know how to influence without authority.
- Expertise in experiment design, hypothesis testing, and statistical interpretation.
- Proven success operating independently in fast-paced, ambiguous settings.
- Comfort balancing both strategic thinking and detailed hands-on execution.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Python or R for statistical analysis.
- Familiarity with product data infrastructure, tagging plans, and event design
