Overview

Park Evaluations is a fast growing, mid-sized legal technology and services firm. Park Evaluations is seeking a highly strategic, results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead our finance organization and play a key role in driving growth, operational efficiency, and shareholder value.

The ideal candidate will have progressive finance leadership experience in B2B business and software services, including a strong background working in small to mid-sized companies, deep familiarity with private equity-backed environments, and a proven track record of managing mergers and acquisitions from strategy through integration. This role is ideal for a hands-on, adaptable leader who thrives in low-ego, fast-paced environments and can balance strategic vision with operational execution.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Financial Planning

  • Partner with the CEO, Board, and private equity stakeholders to define and execute the company's financial and strategic objectives.
  • Develop and oversee financial strategies that support growth, profitability, and long-term value creation.
  • Provide actionable insights to guide decision-making and performance improvement.

Financial Operations & Reporting

  • Lead and manage all finance functions, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, tax, and compliance.
  • Ensure timely, accurate financial statements and management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
  • Maintain robust internal controls and compliance with applicable regulations.

Private Equity & Board Relations

  • Serve as the primary financial liaison to private equity partners, ensuring transparency and alignment on performance metrics, growth initiatives, and value creation plans.
  • Prepare and deliver Board presentations and investor updates.

Mergers & Acquisitions

  • Lead financial due diligence, valuation, and deal structuring for acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic transactions.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to integrate acquired companies seamlessly into existing operations.

Operational Excellence

  • Drive process improvements and system enhancements to increase efficiency and scalability.
  • Oversee risk management, insurance, and cash flow management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
  • 10–20 years of progressive finance leadership roles, with at least 5 years as a CFO or senior finance executive.
  • Proven track record in small or mid-sized company environments, ideally under $500M in revenue.
  • Direct experience in private equity-backed companies, including reporting and governance requirements.
  • M&A experience, including due diligence, deal execution, and post-merger integration.
  • Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Hands-on, action-oriented, and comfortable working in a low-ego, fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to partner effectively across all levels of the organization.
