Clinical Solutions VP - Remote

The Clinical Solutions Vice President is responsible for developing new, bold clinical solutions and architecting plans for execution, as well as evaluating innovative solutions to assess applicability versus Primes' current capabilities, including impact to members, providers and clients. The role will assess drug pipelines and evolving markets for potential business expansion. The position will work with external thought leaders and emerging health markets and collaborate with internal partners to achieve the successful execution of strategic business initiatives and the delivery of innovative solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and assessment of innovative clinical solutions and the design and implementation of innovative drug solutions, including optimizing drug utilization, patient outcomes, and cost-effectiveness through value-based care models, digital health initiatives, and patient support programs.
- Manage the ongoing development and maintenance of innovation and specialty roadmap and ensuring successful harmonization.
- Monitor and assess market trends, data, drug pipelines, and competitive intelligence to drive continuous improvement.
- Represent the organization as a thought leader at industry conferences, client meetings, and advisory boards.
- Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science Pharmacy degree.
- Current Pharmacist license to practice in the state candidate resides in.
- 12 years of work experience in medical and pharmacy drug management within a PBM or managed care organization.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
Additional Qualifications:
- Strong leadership and strategic thinking skills, with a record of accomplishment of driving innovation solutions and growth.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to leverage data to drive clinical and financial outcomes.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship management abilities.
- Knowledge of healthcare regulations, payer strategies, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in Microsoft products, including excel and PowerPoint.
- Ability to manage complex projects across the enterprise through cross-collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Business Administration or Public Health or Oncology Pharmacy Specialty Certification BCOP.
- Experience in specialty drug management (trends, biosimilars, gene therapies, emerging treatment modalities), value-based care, medical and pharmacy drug benefits, and population health strategies.
- Experience working with health plans, pharmaceutical manufacturers, and provider networks to optimize specialty drug services.
- Experience in developing innovation solutions within the PBM/healthcare industry.
Potential pay for this position ranges from $164,000.00 - $279,000.00 based on experience and skills.
