Join Our Team as a Director of Engineering!About UsTheDirectorofEngineeringisresponsibleforoverseeingtheproperty'sfacilitiesmaintenancefunction,ensuringtheefficientoperation,maintenance,service,andrepairofallequipment.The Director of Engineering is a skilled leader with technical expertise in engineering and maintenance.Key Skills/Responsibilities

• LeadershipandSupervision:Direct and supervise the Maintenance staff, overseeing the maintenance of buildings and grounds.
• TechnicalExpertise: Apply extensive experience in engineering, maintenance and related fields to ensure efficient operations.
• Problem-SolvingandDecision Making: Evaluate and select amoung alternative courses of action quickly and accurately, handingling problems effectively in high-pressure situations.
• CommunicationSkills:Convey information and ideas clearly and effectively listen to and understand issues raised by co-workers and guests.
• FinancialAcumen: Work with and understand financial information and data, including basic arithmetic functions to support maintenance operations.
• ProjectManagement:Develop and implement policies and procedures for maintenance requests, schedule maintenance and ensure compliance with regulations.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor'sdegreeandatleast5yearsofexperienceinarelatedfield,includingpriormanagementexperience.
• Experienceinahotelorrelatedfieldisrequired,withatradelicensepreferred.
