Position Overview
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Procurement Lead to oversee and optimize procurement operations across both direct and indirect categories for one of our quick growing clients. This role will manage the full procurement lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiation to supplier management and performance tracking—while leading a team and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end procurement activities for both direct and indirect spend categories.
- Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with business goals and deliver cost savings.
- Manage supplier relationships, including contract negotiations, performance reviews, and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with operations, finance, and legal teams to ensure procurement compliance and efficiency.
- Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for innovation and improvement.
- Oversee procurement reporting, spend analysis, and KPI tracking.
- Mentor and manage procurement staff, fostering a high-performance culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in procurement, with proven expertise in both direct and indirect sourcing.
- At least 3 years of management experience, including leading teams and strategic initiatives.
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills.
- Proficiency in procurement systems and tools (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Coupa).
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
