Base pay range: $117,400.00/yr - $161,425.00/yr

This is a remote opportunity based out of NJ/NY/PA/CA with in-office expectations for tastings, brainstorms, workshops, etc. approximately 2 times per month. Approx. 4 business trips per year to Company HQ in San Diego for Sales Meetings and events.

The Senior Brand Manager will lead cross-functional teams, manage budgets, and analyze in-market performance. You will drive innovation strategy and project execution to support AC plans.

Responsibilities & Outcomes
  • Demonstrate strong strategic thinking with deep understanding of consumer and category insights, market trends, and a disruptive innovation pipeline to ensure growth over a 3-year horizon
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders across the organization, influencing and negotiating to drive innovation initiatives forward
  • Provide inspiring leadership to cross-functional team members and help pull teams together to manage priorities and deliver on goals
  • Ensure on-time launch of complex new platform innovation projects, working closely with cross-functional teams
  • Develop compelling launch plans to enable successful customer sell-in and consumer excitement through storytelling and strong business acumen
  • Foster a culture of innovation, experimentation, and continuous learning within the team

  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills; ability to use syndicated data sources to assess the competitive space and generate insights and recommendations
  • Strong project management expertise balancing big-picture and day-to-day execution
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with internal and external partners
  • Consumer insights, preferably in the consumer goods sector in a matrix environment
  • Confidence in managing and optimizing Financial P&L
  • Agility over perfection; execution with excellence and prioritizing results
  • Follow-through on commitments and perseverance to find creative solutions
Job Specific Requirements
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in Brand Marketing, ideally with Natural Foods brands and/or at start-ups/smaller CPG companies
  • Prior experience in CPG innovation and commercialization
  • Creative and innovative mindset; ability to think outside the box and challenge the status quo
  • Understanding of the retail landscape and experience working with retail accounts
  • Education / Certifications: Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Management, or related field

Compensation & Benefits

The base salary range for this position is $117,400 to $161,425; exact salary depends on experience, skills, education, and budget. Eligible for a bonus program with potential for overachievement based on performance and company results.
