Job Description
The Director, Partner Marketing drives a comprehensive marketing strategy to maximize STARZ subscribers and revenue across assigned digital partners. The position is the main point of contact for external partner marketing teams and collaborates internally, leading a team to implement campaigns and strategic initiatives across the partner ecosystem. This role requires a high level of creativity, attention to detail, and project management skills, as well as the ability to analyze marketing and subscription data to develop insights and make innovative and strategic recommendations to drive increased revenue and subscribers. The ideal candidate will have the ability to lead multiple projects, working both independently and through a team. The role is customer-facing and requires diligence in follow-through, communication internally and externally, as well as a keen sense of customer relationships and their impact on the larger distribution team.
Responsibilities
Determine ongoing marketing and creative strategies to achieve objectives, leveraging internal brand and originals marketing teams to ensure alignment. Translate broad strategic objectives into actionable marketing plans and tactics.Lead a team to execute projects, providing strategic guidance and thought leadership. Maintain awareness of project status, anticipating needs and conflicts.Collaborate with distribution, analytics, media, and marketing teams in developing and analyzing marketing plans to meet subscriber and revenue goals.Establish and nurture relationships with partner decision makers including marketing, operations, and business stakeholders.Understand key objectives, challenges, and opportunities for STARZ within partner businesses to facilitate the advancement of STARZ objectives and initiatives.Work cross-functionally to socialize partner activities and advocate for distribution and partner needs.Manage contractual marketing funds, establishing strategic and creative directions for assigned accounts. Partner with internal teams to align on-platform buys to support distribution objectives and optimize funds.Monitor and analyze marketing projects, making recommendations for improvements and better results.Secure optimal placement for STARZ in partner marketing tactics. Review partner creative, manage internal routing, and communicate changes as needed.Exhibit strong communication skills through ongoing communication, presentations, weekly meetings, and quarterly business reviews.Ensure distribution teams are current with programming and marketing strategies, acting as the main point of contact for internal marketing, PR, and programming teams, and communicating partner initiatives effectively.Compensation
