Join a company where your work truly makes a difference, and your skills are valued!What You'll Do:As an ATF Attendant, you are responsible for the sterile handling, preparation, and transfer of raw and finished liquid products in a tank farm environment. This role ensures tanks and piping systems are properly sanitized, filled, monitored, and maintained to support aseptic production processes while complying with all food safety and quality regulations. Responsibilities:
  • Operate, clean, sanitize, and maintain storage tanks, CIP (Clean-in-Place) systems, valves, pumps, and associated piping.
  • Perform sterile transfers of ingredients and finished product to/from aseptic process areas according to SOPs.
  • Monitor and document tank levels, product temperatures, flow rates, and line pressures to ensure compliance with operating standards.
  • Prepare tanks for production use by completing cleaning, sanitizing, and sterile connections.
  • Operate yard trucks to move tankers within the facility.
  • Perform basic troubleshooting and notify maintenance for equipment malfunctions.
  • Maintain accurate records for product movement, cleaning cycles, and quality checks in accordance with GMP and HACCP protocols.
  • Ensure that all work areas are clean, organized, and free from contamination.
  • Follow strict safety, hygiene, and aseptic handling procedures at all times.
  • Assist with product changeovers, ensuring all cross-contamination risks are mitigated. Active participation and support of the plant safety program is required.
  • Regular attendance required.
  • Assist in other departments as needed.
  • Perform any other duties assigned.
What We're Looking For:
  • High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
  • 1 - 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting; beverage, dairy, pharmaceutical, or chemical manufacturing in a tank farm or sterile environment preferred.
  • Valid driver's license required; must have acceptable MVR.
  • Knowledge of CIP/SIP (Clean-In-Place / Steam-In-Place) procedures.
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), or similar quality systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret tank schematics, flow diagrams, and SOPs.
  • Requires solid understanding of computer operations and software.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Complies with health and sanitation protocols.
  • Ability to work independently or in a team and respond quickly to production needs.
  • Must be self-motivated with the ability to work without direct supervision.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude; able to use tools and valves safely.
  • Must be able to work on other shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Physical Demands:
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts) on hard surfaces and throughout the production and tank farm areas.
  • Frequently lift, carry, push, or pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. Occasional team lifts are required for heavier items.
  • Regularly bend, kneel, crawl, reach above shoulders, and maneuver in tight spaces to access valves, hoses, and equipment.
  • May need to climb stairs or ladders to access tanks or elevated work platforms up to 75 feet.
  • Requires the use of hands and fingers to operate valves, connect hoses, handle small parts, and manage sanitation tools.
  • Must have sufficient vision to read gauges, follow SOPs, identify leaks or equipment issues, and accurately complete documentation.
  • Ability to hear alarms, equipment sounds, and verbal instructions in a noisy production environment.
  • Must wear appropriate PPE, such as gloves, safety glasses, hearing protection, and protective clothing.
  • Exposure to hot and cold temperatures, wet or humid conditions, pressurized systems, strong or toxic cleaning chemicals, and moving mechanical parts.
