This is a fantastic full-time, contract-to-hire position with excellent growth potential in a clean, team-oriented manufacturing environment. Overtime and Double Time may be available based on business needs and manager approval. This role will typically be a 40-hour work week. Please note that this role is repetitive. MUST HAVE good eyes and excellent attention to detail. Pay Rate: Starting at $20.00 per hourShifts Available: 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM We are looking for a reliable, detail-oriented individual with previous quality control or manufacturing experience. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, safety-focused, and capable of maintaining high-quality standards in a fast-paced production environment.
Key Responsibilities Inspection and Testing
- Perform detailed inspections on console screens to identify defects, scratches, or other quality issues.
- Test screen functionality, including touch sensitivity, display resolution, and brightness.
Documentation and Reporting
- Record inspection results and defects using company-provided forms or software.
- Communicate findings and trends to the quality control supervisor or production team.
Process Monitoring
- Ensure products meet established specifications and standards before packaging or shipping.
- Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement in quality assurance.
Troubleshooting
- Work with production teams to resolve issues with defective or non-conforming products.
- Suggest improvements to minimize recurring defects or errors.
Compliance and Safety
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and quality control standards.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols when handling fragile equipment or tools.
Additional Duties
- Assist with inventory counts and tracking of defective or returned items.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisors.
Requirements - High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in quality control, manufacturing, or production preferred.
- Experience working with electronic devices or console screens is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work with basic testing equipment and tools.
- Effective communication skills to report findings and collaborate with team members.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and practices.
