Overview

Vice President of Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Quality: The ideal candidate has extensive experience in manufacturing and robotics organizations, with a proven track record of scaling operations to achieve best-in-class performance. The VP will directly supervise the Manufacturing, Supply Chain and Quality teams and must be strongly experienced in all three areas.

What You'll Do

  • Establish operational benchmarks and allocate resources for the manufacturing, supply chain, and quality teams to achieve strategic objectives, proactively driving continuous improvement and defining clear accountability measures aligned with company values and goals.
  • Communicate with confidence and credibility to team members and, importantly, to executives, customers, suppliers, and other stakeholders with an adaptable communication style.
  • Present results monthly to the C-Level leadership, including forecasts and recommendations. Participate in decisions regarding company objectives and initiatives supported by insight and prompt action.
  • Own relationships with suppliers and OEM customers, working closely with the client's executive finance team.
  • Participate in strategic discussions and presentations, including interaction with the Board of Directors during quarterly meetings and as needed.
  • Represent the company to State and Municipal Government officials during factory and warehouse visits, engage in discussions on technology, manufacturing and policy initiatives in state and federal working groups, and conduct press interviews as needed.
  • Maintain composure under pressure, pivot quickly in response to changing conditions, recover from setbacks, and make informed decisions in stressful situations.
  • Drive team alignment, present clear arguments with other teams, and negotiate with customers and suppliers on behalf of the company.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • 10+ years of operations and people management experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Proficiency in NetSuite MRP, including PO processes, parts lists, BOM, and Demand Planning.
  • Extensive experience in Quality is required.
  • Experience in robotics and manufacturing operations.
  • Strategic thinker with strong financial literacy and business acumen, including understanding financial statements, profitability, risk management, and collaboration with other departments to achieve company goals.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to perform effectively under pressure and within deadlines.
  • Proven experience in coaching and team development.
  • Based on-site at our Boston facility.
