Overview

We are seeing an Director of Food & Beverage for our lifestyle hotel and clubhouse Recess Savannah to lead, and inspire our Food & Beverage teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences. The Director of Food & Beverage is a culture setter who creates and nurtures positive team dynamics across the property. Our ideal candidate will have outstanding people skills and thrive in a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment that requires high levels of guest and team communication and interaction.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee each of the Hotel's dining outlets, brand operations standards and performance with emphasis on training and teamwork, and accountability.
  • Continually coach and provide constructive and timely feedback.
  • Anticipate and respond to guest and club member needs in a timely and gracious manner.
  • Provide exceptional service to guests and club members that go above and beyond their expectations.
  • Maintain high standards of food and beverage quality, presentation, and service.
  • Partner with the Brand team to successfully maintain and deliver against standards, programs and service expectations
  • Develop annual budgets and monitor financial performance regularly.
  • Establish challenging, yet realistic goals to direct operations and overall performance.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations.
  • Manage inventory levels and implement inventory tracking systems.
  • Foster and maintain positive working relationships and constant communication across all departments.

Qualifications

  • Passionate about hospitality and providing elevated service with a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Food and Beverage leadership role, preferably in a luxury hotel environment
  • A strong leader with a proven track record in guest and team member engagement and financial performance
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and communications skills, both written and verbal
  • Creative problem-solver
  • Excellent presentation and grooming standards
