Meetings Director [5826]
Association located in Montgomery County seeks a permanent Meetings Director to oversee logistics of conferences and workshops.
Responsibilities
- Direct onsite and virtual meeting logistics by overseeing registration, room set up, and audio-visual elements.
- Manage registration process by establishing pricing set up and special offers.
- Create timelines for planning committees.
- Coordinate meeting sponsorship items and develop printed materials.
- Develop event websites and coordinate webinars.
- Implement education programs and learning management systems.
Qualifications
Experience using iMIS or similar CRM databases preferred.
- Effectively manages and prioritizes tasks in a fast-paced working environment.
- Sound judgment and excellent problem-solving skills.
- Customer service oriented.
- Demonstrated professionalism.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and virtual meeting platforms.
- Experience managing webinars and virtual events.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality, education, or related field preferred.
- Previous experience in a managerial or senior-level meetings position.
- Ability to travel as needed.
Salary
$90,000 - $120,000 per year.
