Job Title: Unit Supply Specialist

The Unit Supply Specialist plays a pivotal role in the U.S. Army, responsible for overseeing and maintaining all military supplies and equipment.

  • Loading and Unloading: Safeguarding the physical movement of supplies, equipment, and ammunition
  • Inventory Management: Maintaining control of supplies to ensure their availability
  • Security Measures: Safeguarding and controlling weapons and ammunition in designated areas
  • Supply Documentation: Managing and updating supply records, such as the Property Book

The Unit Supply Specialist is also responsible for handling and transporting sensitive equipment and materials.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure timely delivery of essential supplies to support military operations
  • Conduct regular inventory checks to prevent losses and shortages
  • Develop and implement effective storage solutions to optimize space utilization
  • Collaborate with other units to coordinate logistics and transportation efforts
