The Unit Supply Specialist plays a pivotal role in the U.S. Army, responsible for overseeing and maintaining all military supplies and equipment.
- Loading and Unloading: Safeguarding the physical movement of supplies, equipment, and ammunition
- Inventory Management: Maintaining control of supplies to ensure their availability
- Security Measures: Safeguarding and controlling weapons and ammunition in designated areas
- Supply Documentation: Managing and updating supply records, such as the Property Book
The Unit Supply Specialist is also responsible for handling and transporting sensitive equipment and materials.
