About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Data Scientist to lead data-driven initiatives and solve complex business problems through advanced analytics, statistical modeling, and machine learning. You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization to deliver actionable insights and innovative solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end data science projects, from data acquisition and preprocessing to model development, deployment, and monitoring.
- Build and optimize predictive models and machine learning algorithms to improve business processes and outcomes.
- Partner with engineering and product teams to design scalable data pipelines and deploy production-ready models.
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to uncover trends, patterns, and opportunities.
- Communicate technical findings to business stakeholders and leadership through clear, compelling data stories.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior team members.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (W2 only; no C2C or sponsorship).
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field (PhD preferred).
- 5+ years of professional experience in data science, machine learning, or applied statistics.
- Proficiency in Python, R, and SQL, with strong knowledge of data science libraries (scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch, XGBoost, etc.).
- Experience with big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark) and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Strong foundation in statistics, experimental design, and hypothesis testing.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence decision-making.
