We are excited to invite a Staffing Specialist to our dynamic team. We serve the medical and dental needs essential for maintaining a deployable military force, including branches such as the U.S. Army Reserve, Army National Guard, U.S. Navy Reserve, U.S. Marine Forces Reserve, U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, Air National Guard, and U.S. Air Force Reserve.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Effectively communicate event schedules and staff availability to medical and dental personnel using our communication tools and systems.
  • Operate with urgency and efficiency to fulfill individual and team tasks, ensuring optimal service delivery.
  • Assign staff to specific event roles based on their skills, evaluations, and availability.
  • Confirm scheduled events with staff, detailing essential operational requirements and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Staffing and Regional Operations team to meet staffing needs, ensuring effective and efficient deployment.
  • Provide on-call support outside regular business hours to manage staffing emergencies and last-minute replacements.
  • Explore creative solutions to fill staffing gaps promptly, including making outreach calls.
  • Maintain and update staffing information in our systems as new staff come on board.
  • Partner with the credentialing department to ensure compliance with state and regional requirements for staff deployment.
  • Assist the Payroll Department to resolve any payroll-related inquiries for staff.
  • Support the Recruiting team by screening candidates and managing onboarding tasks.
  • Offer constructive feedback to the Director of Staffing to realize best staffing practices.
  • Work closely with the Regional Operations team to address staffing needs as required.
  • Respond to general inquiries from staff via email and phone.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experience in Human Resources, Administrative or Customer Service fields.
  • Experience in staffing and/or recruiting is highly preferred.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced, high-stress environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to work weekends and irregular hours as needed for on-call support.
