Primary Purpose: Manage field appraisal assignments primarily for corporate fleets and insurance clients with a focus on automobiles.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Schedule same-day appointments and conduct inspections within 24 hours, generating estimates on-site.
  • Expected to complete 6 to 10 estimates daily depending on the area.
  • Ensure complete and accurate vehicle assessment.
  • Determine appropriate repair times and labor needs.
  • Make sound repair or replace decisions.
  • Evaluate pre-existing damage and complete total loss assessments accurately.
  • Negotiate repair costs with decision-makers and establish completion timelines according to client guidelines.
  • Assess supplement requests for accuracy and validity.
  • Communicate effectively with customers about their repair estimates and the claims process.
  • Maintain precise records related to cost estimations and claims.
  • Negotiate fees for towing, tear-down, and storage for total loss vehicles.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to all parties involved.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

Additional Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Assist the quality assurance team and engage in desk appraisal tasks when not in the field.

Qualifications:

Education & Licensing:

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution is preferred but not mandatory. Relevant licenses and professional certifications are advantageous. Required licensing must be obtained within 60 days of hiring.

Experience:

A minimum of four (4) years in insurance or body shop settings.

Skills & Knowledge:

  • Strong technical understanding of auto appraisal processes.
  • Knowledge of client operations and labor regulations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work with auto appraisal software.
  • Strong analytical and interpretive skills.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Effective negotiation and discretion skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
  • Capability to work collaboratively within a team.
  • Able to meet or exceed performance metrics.
  • Experience with CCC One is preferable.

Work Environment:

This role requires independence, as you will manage your local territory and schedule your daily responsibilities.

Mental and Physical Requirements:

  • Must possess clear thinking capacity, good judgment, and the ability to manage stress while handling numerous priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficient computer keyboarding skills and local travel are necessary.

Pay Transparency Disclosure: This position's starting salary range is $55,000 - $65,000 annually, varying by skills, experience, and location. A comprehensive benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, 401k matching, PTO, disability and life insurance, and other voluntary benefits.
